Transmission Drop (re)formed in 2009 in their hometown of Portland, Maine, having performed and recorded from 2000-2004 as The Hot Dogs. They recorded a full-length album and a EP under their previous name, and released a self-titled EP of new songs in 2010. Their new EP "Past Tense, Future Perfect" continues to expand their sound from high-energy garage rock to acoustic ballads and psychedelia.
